Works with no signal, no internet, ever.

HAND-CRANK POWERED

Never runs out of battery. Crank it back to life.

VAST & SEARCHABLE

Thousands of manuals, found by voice in seconds.

ALWAYS CURRENT

Updates itself at home, then goes dark-ready.

Everything you rely on runs on the grid.

The moment the signal dies, your phone becomes a paperweight. Every answer you've ever needed lives on a server you can no longer reach.

Printed manuals don't die — but they're frozen the day they're printed, and you can't search a bookshelf with one hand on a wound. A crank radio only receives whatever someone else is broadcasting.

The Survival Codex is the one tool that is vast, current, searchable, and self-powered — built to work when everything else has gone dark.

AND IT DOESN'T JUST HELP YOU SURVIVE — IT HOLDS WHAT IT TAKES TO REBUILD.

LIVE INTELLIGENCE —

The knowledge your Codex keeps current.

Plug it in at home and the Codex quietly pulls the latest survival intelligence for your region — then holds it, offline, for the moment you need it. This is a preview of that feed.

— WHAT'S INSIDE —

A library that would fill a truck. In the palm of your hand.

The Survival Codex doesn't just help you survive the crisis — it holds the knowledge to rebuild what's lost. Distilled from the world's practical knowledge, compressed, indexed, and made instantly searchable offline.

— THE OBVIOUS QUESTION —

“Why not a survival book and a crank radio?”

Fair question — we asked it too. A book gives you one author’s few hundred pages, fixed the day it was printed, findable only by flipping. It can’t hold the topographic maps of your region, can’t compute a chlorine dose or a beam load, and can’t tell you what changed last month.

The Codex holds over a million pages — a bookshelf that would fill a truck — answers a spoken question in seconds, carries vector maps of the ground you’re standing on, runs real calculators and diagnostic flows, and refreshes itself every time you plug it in at home. The crank means it outlives every battery you own.

A book is a snapshot. The Codex is a library that stays current — and answers back.

— FAQ —

Straight answers.

When does it ship?

Pre-orders ship April 2027. You're reserving at the pre-order price of $289 (RRP $369).

What exactly is the Survival Codex?

A rugged, hand-cranked handheld holding a vast offline library of survival and rebuilding knowledge, searchable by voice and browsable on a sunlight-readable e-ink screen. It also senses temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure.

Does it need internet?

No. It works 100% offline. It only connects (via USB-C at home) to update its library — then it's fully self-contained.

How does the "always current" updating work?

Plugged in at home, it pulls the latest curated intelligence for your chosen region and topics. A $1/month plan (launching with the device) covers keeping it current. Once you go offline, it holds the most recent version.

How is it powered?

A built-in hand crank recharges it — it never runs out of battery. It also charges via USB-C (and an optional solar panel).

Does it call for help / have GPS / a radio?

No. It has no radio, transmitter, or GPS. It is a knowledge, power, and environmental-awareness device — not a communication or rescue device. (Maps use pre-loaded data; you mark your position manually.)

What's the EMP case?

An optional shielded case for storage. To protect against an EMP event, keep the device in the case when not in use. (The device must be removed from the case to sync.)

Is the information reliable?

Content is curated and distilled from reputable sources, but it is reference information — not a substitute for professional medical care, emergency services, or hands-on training.

Can I cancel my pre-order?

Yes — full refund available any time before your order ships. Email us and we'll take care of it.
